Hi everyone! Quick update, we have arrived safe and sound in Nagpur with no problems. We spent the morning catching up with Pushpa and Sattu, and the afternoon meeting all the children and staff and seeing the children's home. The home has come such a long way, we will post some updated photos soon. So things are off to a good start!
At the same time, day one and the poverty here is already really overwhelming. Today we drove past some large concrete pipes that were on the side of the road. People have moved into these pipes and are using them as places to live. You just cannot imagine how people can live the way they do here. It is unthinkable and unbelievable. Also went past many tents made out of rags or tarps or other bits and pieces, which families call home.
The challenge begins....

Thanks for the updates.... Keep them coming :) xx
trip sounds so exciting and overwhelming so far! I think your comment of not looking ahead just looking around is such a good analogy to just "being" as you get used to everything!
